The CAT Program at Transnet is a three-year learnership program for candidates with a Certificate in the Theory of Accounting (CTA) or B.Compt. Hons. or an equivalent qualification.
The severe prerequisites of SAICA request that students get broad preparation in Monetary Administration, The executives Direction, Monetary Bookkeeping, Inward Review and Corporate Administration, Examining and Confirmation and Tax assessment. This also includes personal skills, intellectual skills, interpersonal and communication skills, organizational and management skills, and professional skills.
The trainees will rotate through several of Transnet’s business units, including Transnet National Ports Authority, Transnet Pipelines, and Transnet Freight Rail, among others. The revolution will be custom-made to address the issues of the student and the separate specialty unit, with the learner spending something like 33% of the commonsense preparation in one business.
