SUMMARY:
An industry leader in the retail sector which is based in the NORTH WEST PROVINCE and within the Ottosdal and Hartbeesfontein area, is recruiting for experienced Cashiers

POSITION INFO:
Salary: 
Negotiable depending on skills and experience.

Experience
The successful incumbent will work within the Butchery and must possess at least two (2) years’ experience within a position as a cashier.

Formal qualifications

• Matric or equivalent NQF level
• A valid driver’s licence

Responsibilities
The incumbent will be responsible for:

• Processing sales transactions
• Accepting payments (cash, POS or account)
• Calculating and returning change when required
• Maintaining adequate change in the cash register
• Answering questions from customers regarding products
• Reporting issues with equipment
• Working as a team to meet sales targets
• Handling customer complaints
• Maintaining a clean and tidy working area and checkout area
• Assisting in rotating stock
• Weighing items with correct codes
• Scanning and bag items efficiently and accurately
